LECTURES and EXHIBITS
Ms. Snead is available to speak on her experiences with the Tarahumara as she traveled and photographed in the Sierras. Exquisite original prints, hand printed by the artist are available for exhibit with the lectures. You may also request the images for extended showings. The lectures and exhibitions were created for the following reasons:

As art, these portraits of humanity are compelling and intriguing on their own
To introduce or deepen the non-Native American viewer’s knowledge of the Tarahumara
To introduce the Native American community to this anthropologically similar culture
To present the Hispanic community with a rich and vital part of their heritage
To document the upheaval taking place in this ancient culture due to renewed efforts by various industries, resulting in heightened contact with other cultures.
